CDD’s Client Prevails In Public Records Special Action

On October 23, 2026, the Pima County Superior Court ruled in favor of the Arizona Board of Regents (“ABOR”), holding the University of Arizona (the “University”) did not violate the Arizona Public Records Act.  The case involved a six-count public record’s special action by a former employee of the University.  Following an expedited schedule culminating in a full-day evidentiary hearing, closing arguments, and voluminous post-hearing briefing, the Court ruled in ABOR’s favor on all counts. Congratulations to CDD’s team of Betsy Lamm and Jenna Brownlee.
